Last weekend the 8 Women Dream group that my wife belongs to (a wonderful group of women, check them out when you get a chance) was having a meeting in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts. So I thought I would tag along and find some interesting things to photograph.
As the group began their meeting I walked around the Palace of Fine Art and photographed the structure, Ducks, Geese and other wild life. Unfortunately they are renovating the main structure and you are unable to walk completely around.
I walked across the street to Crissy Fields to see if there was anything of interest there. As I walked across the picnic area I came across a grassy berm and on top of the berm was this Blue Heron just standing there posing. So, I moved around to his side to compose one of the Golden Gate Bridges towers into the frame. As I moved around to get the GGB tower I also got a palm tree, bonus. Please enjoy.
