Jack London State Historic Park is magical. After dark, the magic really shines.
I’ve had the opportunity over the last several years to partner with the park to offer an amazing opportunity to stay in the park after closing, set up our photography equipment at Wolf House, and use light painting to capture this beautiful venue.
The results of this technique are ethereal. Images can look like they are deep underwater, swimming up in your imagination. Surrounded by the pitch-black forest helps fuel the thought that there are eyes watching every move you make.
I am thrilled to donate my time and expertise to this event, as all proceeds are donated to the park to help keep this wonderful local resource open for us all to enjoy.
