For over 25 years, Ray Mabry has used his experience in photography to capture images in architecture, landscape, and abstract forms. Starting out, Ray would process his own black and white film and enlargements and loves the creative expression that photography has to offer.
Ray has an extensive background in computer technology and digital imagery and the switch to digital photography in 2001 was a natural move. Shooting with the professional level Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II and Canon EOS 1DX, he is able to capture imagery to further explore new ideas in digital photography.
A writer for several online photography blogs, a photography instructor, and a photojournalist, his goal is to capture the sights, sounds, and feel of the environment and translate those senses into a visual experience that will transcend the two-dimensional bounds of the photograph itself.
